A brief description of the manga HORIMIYA:
At first glance, high school student Hori Kyouko seems to be an outstanding student: she is a good student, able to find common ground with others and radiates joy of life. However, outside the school the mask falls. In fact, the main character simply can not lead a normal life of a teenager: she is too busy with household chores.
While parents who are obsessed with their work are always late, Hori is forced to clean, cook and bring up her younger brother. She doesn’t have real friends who know about her real hard life.One day, however, as she takes her younger brother out of school, she encounters her classmate, Izumi Miyamura.
This small incident makes them talk, and soon the teenagers realize that they have a lot in common. Miyamura, like Hori, hides her true identity. At school, he seems like a typical otaku, quiet and uninterested in conversation, but outside he loves piercing and tattoos and is very friendly.
