Richelle goes to the royal palace to bring handmade sweets to her fiancé, who is always too busy with work to make time for her. But what she witnesses there is her fiancé kissing a young lady who is supposedly just a colleague. Stunned, Richelle is then showered with insults by her fiancé. To make matters worse, he mocks her for making sweets—“something only servants do”—and abruptly announces their engagement is over.
