During the Edo Era, Tsukimiya Matsuri, a stunning young woman who is admired by all, is faced with a major predicament. The man she loves, Tsukimiya Yonosuke, is not reciprocating her feelings. Despite confessing her love to him in a mature manner, he doesn’t take her seriously due to their upbringing together since childhood, where they were like family. Matsuri has unintentionally placed herself in the role of a familial figure, which is a pity for her.
However, Matsuri has a motive for wanting to change Yonosuke’s mind. In exchange for his life, Yonosuke wants to seek revenge on the general who killed his former love.
